A few weekends back I had the opportunity to host a few friends for an intimate dinner cruise aboard the "Odyssey" ship thanks to Entertainment Cruises. I honestly didn't know what to expect as I hadn't been on one of these types of cruises in a while, but I have to say, the presentation and overall experience was fantastic! The beautiful glass enclosed boat offered great 360 degree views of DC and had quite a bit a space to dine and dance.
From the table settings, to the delicious food and excellent service, I couldn't have asked for anything more! Hopefully, you had a chance to watch the video above which shows and depicts how much of an awesome time my friends and I had aboard.
For my cruise I decided to wear a great aqua marine blue sweater from GANT, some elegant 484 resin denim from J.Crew and some sophisticated Cole Haan boots I found at the Gilt City warehouse sale. We departed the dock right as the sun was setting (thankfully I brought my Tommy sunglasses) on the Potomac and had a sunset view of the Washington Monument.
